Children's author Eoin Colfer has been commissioned to write a sixth instalment of the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy series...

I feel sorry for Adams' family. I'm guessing they're still in the enormously deep financial hole that bopAd left them in when he unexpectedly died. Here's hoping this pulls them out of it.

Oh, and hoping that it doesn't suck of course, as well.

Interesting... I love the Artemis Fowl series, so I'm hopeful, I suppose. We'll have to see.

I was wondering if someone else owned the character rights. Guess not. Must be pretty bad if they're doing this. I'd rather see a TV series. Set in the universe, but not necessarily involving Arthur or Ford. It would give it some separation and some room to grow.
